The DBT Skills Training Program

About the program:

  • This program runs weekly and serially throughout the year.

  • In line with the evidence, this skills training program consists of three modules. Each module runs for nine weeks because there is a lot to learn! You can complete the modules in any order, and the traditional program repeats each of them twice.

  • Individuals must join before the start date and need to be ready to set aside about two hours for skills training and 90 minutes for the live sessions each week. This is a comprehensive program!

  • Online learning maintains privacy, removes difficult group interactions and facilitates learning regardless of severity, location or professional role. See videos on the Resources page to learn more about the program.

  • Free prerequisite diary card e-course to help you track progress and test out my approach

What’s included?

  • Receive weekly DBT skills training sessions with additional content and practical tips from my years of experience.

  • Participate anonymously (no camera or microphone)

  • Meet live to connect via chat, stay accountable, support each other and ask questions. I answer every single one.

  • Commit to one module at a time. Pay weekly or upfront, but cancel anytime if you don’t find it valuable. I will refund you for any content yet to be delivered.

  • Recordings and replays available whilst enrolled to catch up on content or review without paying for another session.

  • Complimentary access for partners or family members. You’re welcome to watch together.

  • Suitable for therapists and professionals, as well as clients and family members. Being anonymous ensures we all participate as equals in a supportive environment yet receive in-depth content to extend current practice.

  • Downloadable handouts, resources, practical activities & information. I continually review and improve my offerings!

Note: These DBT skills webinars are not to be confused with comprehensive DBT or individual therapy. For individuals with severe and complex presentations, the recommendation is to engage in a full DBT program, with face to face individual therapy, face to face groups and phone coaching included. Urgent crisis related issues can not be catered for with this webinar format. Webinars are not a replacement for local supports, psychological therapy and crisis services.
